Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and skilled professional to take on the role of Lead Engineering Specialist. This position is crucial in managing and enhancing the operational efficiency of the organization, ensuring effective project engineering, and contributing to the strategic advancement of the business. As a Lead Engineering Specialist, you will be instrumental in supervising the engineering and design phases, ensuring projects are integrated seamlessly from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will work alongside a team of talented engineers and designers, engaging closely with various teams to provide high-quality solutions that meet or surpass client expectations. You will also interact with clients during the design, construction, and project closure stages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide and mentor a team of engineers, promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Offer support for professional growth, ensuring the team stays updated with industry trends and best practices.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, adhering to scope, budget, and timeline constraints.
  • Work with project teams, both internal and external, to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and understanding of client requirements.
  • Serve as a technical consultant, providing insights and expertise to clients on engineering solutions and best practices.
  • Contribute to the formulation and execution of engineering strategies aligned with company objectives and industry advancements.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to foster continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the quality and compliance of engineering outputs with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and uphold rigorous quality control measures to maintain the company's reputation for excellence.
  • Report directly to the CEO.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to identify and evaluate new suppliers and fabricators.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, or related field).
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership capacity within the oil and gas sector.
  • Strong engineering and project management capabilities with a proven record of successful project execution.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster and maintain client relationships.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of oil and gas engineering principles, technologies, and industry standards.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and tools utilized in the industry.
  • Understanding of oil and gas fabrication and construction practices.
  • 15-30 years of pertinent industry experience.
  • PE certification is preferred.
