Transformation Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Process Improvements: Collaborate with leadership teams to establish project strategies, develop project plans, and provide consulting on process improvement methodologies to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Improve Workflows: Assist leaders in developing A3 problem-solving and innovation projects to identify and eliminate inefficiencies, reduce errors, and enhance patient care.
  • Diagnose and Solve Process Improvement Opportunities: Utilize problem-solving fundamentals, statistical models, and other relevant tools to develop solutions that address process improvement opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
  • Promote a Culture of Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting, educating, and instilling a mindset of ongoing improvement and innovation within MyMichigan Health.
  • Eliminate Process Variation: Assist in developing strategies to eliminate process variation and standardize care processes, ensuring consistency and quality across all departments.
  • Develop Effective Working Relationships: Develop and maintain effective, trusting working relationships with all levels of staff to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Provide Technical Assistance: Provide technical assistance and education to hospital departments to support the achievement of objectives and drive excellence in patient care.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Health Care, Industrial & Operational Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Quantitative Analytics discipline). Master's Degree preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience in project management and change management, with a strong track record of driving process improvements and achieving results.
  • Skills: Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to work in both clinic and hospital environments.
  • Physical and Mental Requirements: Ability to lift 20 lbs, with overall dexterity and the ability to handle multiple tasks and stressful situations.
