  • The position will require advance skills in carpentry, painting, electrical and plumbing.
  • Be able to perform multiple, high complex, technical tasks with a need to periodically upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions.
  • Ability to perform on-site inspections of new construction, alterations and repairs; adhering to safety practices, handling hazardous materials and operating facility / rental equipment.
  • Develop solid Preventative Maintenance practices to ensure and protect club assets; help reduce costs associated with repair and maintenance
  • Position will require a hard working individual who is able to teach, manage and apply general scope of work instruction while being able to meet estimated times of completion guidelines.
  • Pool Operations is a major plus
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays
  • Bilingual is a plus, although not required
  • Additional duties and responsibilities may include general clubhouse cleaning and housekeeping duties, although this will be designated to an associate staff member upon successful training.

Responsibilities & Working Environment are inclusive of, but not limited to, the following:

  • Working independently under broad organizational guidelines to achieve objects, manage a department, supervising allocated funds for projects.
  • Significant lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling, some climbing and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling and other movements associated with the job task at-hand.
  • Generally the job requires 10% sitting, 40% walking and 50% standing and most job duties and projects are performed under broad temperature variations with exposure to risk of injury and/or illness.
  • Responsibly for creating (with the assistance of the Clubhouse Manager) all RFP’s, monitoring of all scope of work and time guidelines for outsourced projects
