Key Responsibilities:
• Meet, greet, and assist patient promptly, efficiently, and in a professional manner.
• Set up new patient and update current patient information in the EMR system.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA regulations when handling patient information.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments, as well as coordinate walk-in consumers.
• Answer phone calls and messages promptly, relay messages when necessary and report the following:
1. Number of calls received
2. Number of missed calls
3. Number of messages relayed to the providers
4. Number of messages relayed from providers to clinicians
• Maintain the front desk and reception area in an organized, orderly fashion.
• Process referrals and provide complete and accurate referral information to consumers.
• Explain services, and policies to patient.
• Manage client files and maintain accurate records in compliance with confidentiality regulations.
• Coordinate with clinicians to manage schedules and meet client needs.
The following should be included in the daily report.
1. Number of clinicians called to inform of their schedules and when called.
2. Number of emails sent 24 hours before appointments to providers and clients.
3. Number of clients who showed up for appointments.
4. Number of clients who did not show.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry and record-keeping.
• Other duties as necessary.
Requirements
-High school Diploma
-1-2 years of front desk or administrative role preferably in healthcare
-Proficiency in office software
-Experience with EHR
-Ability to manage and schedule appointment
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Growth Mindset -Detail Oriented
- Excellent time management skill
