We create customized digital programs for our Republican and conservative clients. So we’re looking for exactly the right people to support them.

The Political Client Strategy Manager will develop, execute and lead successful online initiatives for our clients from start to finish. Serving as the direct point-of-contact for our clients, our Manager will ensure that the clients’ digital programs are sophisticated, successful, and a fundamental part of their overall path to victory. Most importantly, our Manager will be a team leader and will help ensure that we’re working together efficiently and effectively to service our clients.

Our team’s success is truly the sum of our parts. Our staff roster is composed of campaign managers, true crime experts, a former high school teacher, foodies, field operatives, Floridians, and fitness gurus. We come from varied backgrounds and have different passions, but we’re all the same in a few distinct ways: we work hard, we fight for the good guys, and we like to win.

If you share those core qualities and want to be a player on a team that is changing the face of digital politics, we’re excited to learn more about you.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the direct point-of-contact for Convergence clients to develop, manage and execute their digital marketing programs
  • Work directly with Convergence’s internal teams to coordinate program execution and ensure the highest level of service is provided to all clients
  • Manage and plan the daily and weekly content schedules across email, SMS, and other digital campaign communications
  • Oversee online advertising campaigns, including online media planning, buying, budgeting, and optimization
  • Interface with the Director of Data, Reporting & Insights to deliver on-time reports and insights
  • Actively participate in meetings, both client-facing and internal, and produce follow-up documentation
  • Write and produce client-facing proposals and memoranda, presentations, strategic plans and other materials, both independently and in collaboration with other Convergence team members
  • Continuously learn about new technologies and trends in the field; identify innovative solutions

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years work experience in online political marketing
  • Bachelor’s Degree or similar

  • Proven strategic thinking and success in digital marketing campaigns
  • Hands-on experience managing digital projects (i.e. email or social media campaigns, SMS, online advertising, website development, etc.)
  • Experience and success in managing customer relationships, expectations and deliverables
  • Ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment
  • Accountable for starting tasks with limited direction while functioning in a team environment
  • Strong Excel skills required
  • Detail-oriented and self-starter a must
