The Associate Underwriter role is integral to the Political Risk & Credit division at Vantage Risk. Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in managing all underwriting transactions while adhering to service standards and compliance regulations.
2. Cultivate skills in basic underwriting analysis, file preparation, and report evaluation.
3. Offer precise support for new business submissions and ongoing policy management.
4. Generate non-binding indications and endorsements for the underwriting team.
5. Facilitate the issuance of new business and the servicing of existing policies as directed.
6. Review policy maintenance endorsements to ensure they meet risk appetite and strategic objectives.
7. Conduct thorough analyses of complex risks and unique transaction structures.
8. Foster a customer-centric approach by engaging proactively with internal and external stakeholders.
9. Collaborate effectively with various business partners and departments to meet client expectations.
10. Commit to continuous learning and development in insurance and underwriting practices.

Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in the insurance or finance sectors is advantageous.
- Familiarity with the insurance industry and underwriting processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Adaptability to change in a rapidly evolving environment.
