Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure that there are sufficient stocks for daily operations.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely delivery of goods.
  • Oversee the receiving of goods and verify the accuracy of shipments against purchase orders.
  • Manage the shipping process, including the preparation of shipping documents and coordination with carriers.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Ensure that all goods are stored in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities, including inventory levels, shipping and receiving logs, and order fulfillment.
  • Generate reports on warehouse performance metrics, such as inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rates, and shipment delays.
  • Provide regular updates to management on warehouse operations and any issues that arise.
  • Train on cross-departmental duties as needed to provide back up and support to the team.
  • Assist with special projects as needed/assigned.
  • Continually expands knowledge base by attending seminars, conferences, and professional training.
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2-5 years of experience in inventory management, shipping, and receiving
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with team members, management, and external partners
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory management and order fulfillment
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software
  • Familiarity with inventory control procedures and documentation
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
