Work Schedule: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

The Logistics Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in overseeing and documenting the flow of goods in and out of the organization. The essential duties include:

  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with shipping vendors and negotiating freight costs
  • Acting as a liaison between clients and logistics providers to address any issues
  • Generating shipping estimates for clients and preparing sales reports for management
  • Overseeing the loading and unloading processes of shipping containers and managing stevedoring operations
  • Coordinating with warehouse personnel to ensure efficient land-based product distribution
  • Reviewing purchase orders and managing order modifications, returns, and cancellations
  • Identifying the most effective shipping methods and routes for delivery services
  • Organizing shipments and managing shipping documentation
