The Corporate Communications Manager collaborates with the Commercial, IT, Operations, Finance and HR teams to lead our internal and external communications. This role will create and implement the marketing communications strategy and programs. This role will be responsible for developing and executing robust internal and external communications strategies that align with our business objectives and growth opportunities. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with deep experience in working with and providing high-level counsel to key senior leaders. Essential Functions

  • Manage and lead the implementation of the marketing communications strategy and programs, including advertising, branding, product promotion, and regulatory matters.
  • Design, develop, and distribute consistent themes, messaging, and branding throughout all communication touch points, both internal and externally.
  • Develop focused communications in collaboration with organizational stakeholders across global functions based on knowledge of products, customers, and industry.
  • Establish and oversee efficient processes for the regulatory review and approval of communication materials.
  • Explore and adopts new channels, methods, and platforms to optimize marketing communications.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of trade shows and conferences to showcase products and amplify messaging.
  • Develop the internal and external resources required for communication program delivery.
  • Remain up to date on current trends of interactive media/marketing.
  • Communicate with organizational leaders to ensure communication strategies are aligned with company goals.
  • Create and manage a high-level, strategic PR plan, including goals, tactics, results analysis, timelines, etc.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work is primarily Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position may require overtime.

Travel

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or communications.

Minimum of 5 years of marketing communications experience for both external and internal clients.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must be eligible the Transportation Worker Identification Credential, also known as TWIC®, is required by the Maritime Transportation Security Act for workers who need access to secure areas of the nation’s maritime facilities and vessels.
