At Duval County Public Schools, we are seeking a highly skilled Community Management Supervisor to lead our efforts in managing and administering federal programs, policies, and activities related to the Every Student Succeeds Act.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance to district administrators, school administrators, and project leaders, as well as implementing project management, monitoring, communication, fiscal, and evaluation systems for LEA and school processes.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical assistance to district administrators, school administrators, and project leaders planning and developing federally funded programs and corresponding budgets.
  • Implementing project management, monitoring, communication, fiscal, and evaluation systems for LEA and school processes to generate the greatest return on investment (academic and fiscal) for grant projects.
  • Creating resource guides, manuals, procedures, and checklists, and distributing them to schools and district offices to ensure all program activities meet regulatory requirements.
  • Developing and implementing processes for internal and external audits and state and local monitoring at the LEA and school level.
  • Ensuring the highest academic standards and a safe and secure learning environment for students participating in equitable services in accordance with the service delivery plan.
  • Leading, managing, supervising, and administering federally funded programs, policies, and activities funded by the grant project.
  • Monitoring instruction and ensuring implementation of supplemental curriculum and assessing the effectiveness of instructional and support personnel.
  • Planning, developing, and preparing annual project applications, revisions, and amendments for federally funded grants and coordinated funded projects.
  • Developing and encouraging positive school/community relations with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supporting the engagement of parent liaisons, advisory councils, volunteers, business partners, civic clubs, and parents to create shared ownership for student and school success.
  • Supporting schools with leveraging funds to engage the community and families to support student achievement activities.

Qualifications for this position include a Master's degree from an accredited college or university, as well as a minimum of three years of experience in fiscal and/or program management. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability to implement program management systems that will facilitate school improvement and program accountability.
