Steed Global as a parent company to Power Drive Supply, Steed Industries and Steed Metals, we are excited to develop and grow our social media and marketing presence for each of our entities. The social media manager will work directly with the Chief Development Officer to drive growth for each team.  Power Drive Supply has 15 years of experience in sales and providing heavy equipment across the U.S. Steed Industries is based in Helena, MT, and specializes in concrete and has experience in many of the aspects of construction. Steed Metals has locations in Gillette and Rock Springs WY. Steed Metals is well known for demolition, disposal and recycling of all types of scrap metal. This position will be planning, implementing, and managing strategies for the social media accounts as well as collaborating with sales and managers to examine the marketing needs of each location.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and analyze social media and marketing analytics to improve strategies
  • Update social media content by filming and editing video
  • Engage with customers and followers
  • Monitor and allocate funds to community sponsorships and local fundraising campaigns to strengthen the relationships with the partners and customers
  • Oversee the purchasing of company promotional material or “swag” (hats, stickers, flyers, jackets, etc.) and increase recognition for each company and improve the employee experience.
  • Communicate effectively to the executive team members in addition to the local management teams, review the current processes in place for marketing and establish goals to increase profit and boost company awareness

 

Skills and Qualification

The minimum skills and qualifications required:

  • Experience as a social media and/or marketing manager
  • Experience in creating social media/marketing strategies
  • Knowledge of best practices for social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Aptitude for crafting engaging content
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in marketing, digital marketing, internet marketing or related field
  • Prior experience as a copywriter
  • Prior experience as a content manager
