Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSUMMARY:
The Billing Administrator supports the Shared Services on the Billing area, by performing duties
necessary for the accurate billing calculations and process. The position oversees the task of sending invoices to customers and monitoring outstanding balances to ensure each account is billed accordingly.

This includes working directly with customer billing portals and customer requests. Additionally, this 
person will assist the Accounting team with various reconciliations and projects as needed throughout the
month.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Generate bills and invoices specific to customers’ accounts
  • Collaborate with customers to resolve billing errors and inconsistencies
  • Billing and collection, Initiate and follow through on calls to customers for invoice payments after N30 days or based on customer terms
  • Manage credit memos and communicate to appropriate staff (operations/Finance)
  • Review and tracking customer monthly statements
  • Initiate and follow through on calls to customers for invoice payments
  • Create necessary and accurate reports for operations staff (i.e., “partials”)
  • Render reports, business correspondence, and procedures
  • Utilize accounting software to process billing
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma REQUIRED and/or Some College Preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated full-time work experience directly related to accounting focused on billing
  • Demonstrated experience in accounts receivables and collections
  • Proficient in utilizing Accounting software and SharePoint
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business communications, professional journals,
  • technical procedures, or governmental regulations as they pertain to accounting and our industry.
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from employees and customers.
  • Use good judgment with resolution of typical day-to-day collections issues
  •  Correctly interpret instructions both written and verbal.
  •  Demonstrate effective use of Microsoft Excel/Word.
  •  Ability to meet deadlines.
