Position Overview:

The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring that all processes run efficiently and effectively. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage multiple functions, including supply chain management, production, inventory control, and distribution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, with a focus on continuous improvement, cost control, and team leadership.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Manage and optimize daily operations, including production, logistics, inventory management, and quality control to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
  • Supply Chain Management: Oversee the entire supply chain process, from procurement to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.
  • Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock and waste.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the operations budget, tracking expenses, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of operational processes and drive improvements.
  • Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including sales, customer service, and finance, to align operational goals with overall business objectives.
  • Problem Solving: Quickly and effectively address any operational issues that arise, implementing corrective actions as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Experience with Essent or similar ERP system.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing teams, with a focus on employee development and engagement.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management, inventory control, and logistics.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements and manage change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in budget management and cost control.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in using operations management software and tools.
