The Director of Quality Assurance is responsible for maintaining the site(s) Quality Management System (QMS) in conjuction with overseeing all aspects of Quality Engineering and Product Inspection for the organizaitons. The role is a Direct Report to the President of AGC/Gar Kenyon and works in a matrixed organization in support of the companies overall goals.
Responsibilities
Ability to multi-task and st priorities in a diverse product organization
Leads the site() internal and external audit activities to ensure certifications and customer/supplier criteria are satisfied
Servies as the primary quality assurance resource for problem identificaton, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement.
Lead root-cause analysis and other problem solving activities to identify effective corrective actions and process improvements
Coordinate periodic Management Reviews and monthly metrics fjor the organizatoins.
Qualifications
This position requires a four year Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution (BS in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Business preferred) or a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a manufacturing organization (Management of an Aerospace QMS is desired but not required)
