LOCATED: 2 Positions - Dublin, Georgia (Laurens County) and Swainsboro, Georgia (Emanuel County)

JOB DESCRIPTION/DUTIES:

  • Answers/returns calls for MD clinic.
  • Schedules appointments for C&A psychiatrists and immediately enters appointments in Avatar Appointment Book.
  • As appointments are rescheduled will note change in Appointment Book in Avatar. Will also make note in EMR under non-billable note.
  • Observes confidentiality of consumers at all times.
  • Prints dashboards for next day’s appointments for MD clinic.
  • Prints BPS for all initial appointments with MD.
  • Checks consumers in for scheduled appointments with MD and ensures they have a return appointment scheduled at the time of check out.
  • Ensures that Diagnosis Screen is up to date.
  • Checks MD notes with diagnosis listed on diagnosis screen.
  • Ensures all medication consents are signed, scanned and attached in EMR.
  • Follows up with no-show appointments within 24 hours to get them rescheduled.
  • Ensures MD clinic schedules are full each week and that all nursing appointments are scheduled.
  • Ensures clinic is operating smoothly and reports any issues to supervisor immediately.
  • Make sure all Treatment Plans are up to date.
  • Make sure to walk consumers to schedulers to get Treatment Plans rescheduled.
  • Work referrals for doctors.
  • Although you were hired to work for this agency as your first assignment, CMHC reserves the right to transfer you to other assignments to meet the needs of CMHC’s staffing patterns.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent documentation (required),
  • Valid GA Driver's License (required),
  • Intermediate computer skills (required),
    • 2+ Years Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Excel (preferred),
  • 1+ Years Call Center Experience (preferred),
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment (preferred),
  • Skills Needed:
    • Ability to Multitask (required),
    • Excellent Time Management and Organizational Skills (required),
    • Decision-Making Skills (required)
    • Conflict Resolution/De-escalation Skills (preferred)

40 Hour Work Week
Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm
