About the Company:

Since the 1970’s, this company has specialized in delivering solutions to difficult projects with challenging engineering tasks – focused primarily on underground wet utilities, water pipelines for water, sewer, and storm drain applications, pump/lift stations, water tanks and reservoirs, junction boxes and water treatment plants. With over a century of combined management experience, the company can mobilize and construct projects anywhere in the entire western US.

Alongside deeply established name recognition around the company’s water infrastructure services, the company also provides heavy highway and roadway construction with concrete and asphalt applications, paving and grading, as well as facilities management, and private development. Most of the company’s projects are situated within a 200-mile radius of Dublin, CA. However, the company is licensed and actively seeks work across six western states: California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Nevada, and Texas. The company has internal prep and paving teams that specialize in aggregate base placement, grinding, patch paving, and overlays. The typical project size ranges from $3 million to $10 million, but the company is also open to smaller projects and can handle bids exceeding $150 million.


About the Position:

The need for finding a skilled Scheduler with experience working for a contractor with underground wet utilities is paramount. Currently, the company has over $100 million in backlog that has yet to scheduled. The company would normally break ground on multiple projects simultaneously, however, without the right Scheduler in place, the company is limited in their ability to move at full-steam. The Scheduler needs to have +10 years of experience working on heavy civil Water Transmission Mains, Water Distribution Systems, Gravity Sewer Lines & Interceptors, Sewer Force Mains, Storm Drain Pipelines, Pipeline Removals & Replacements, Dry Utilities, DOT Projects. Familiarity with California regulations and practices is a plus.

The success of this candidate will be greatly recognized and rewarded by way of substantial bonuses (up to 20% for individual performance) and annual raises combined with increased responsibility and advancement potential into a Director position.

  • Expert with Microsoft Project and Primavera 6
