ATCO STRUCTURES AND LOGISTICS (USA) INC. (“ASL-USA”) is seeking a Business Development Manager for our Texas Region.

The Business Development Manager is responsible for generating sales revenue growth for the business. In this role you will focus on strengthening existing customer relationships, while identifying and establishing new customers across the United States. This role will require frequent travel to customers to develop strategic business relationships and providing modular building solutions for their respective project, industry or geography.

  • Identify, evaluate, develop, and secure opportunities that support established business objectives.
  • Develop new relationships to secure new opportunities, with industry groups manufactures and key decision makers as potential customers.
  • Analyze and understand the new market segments; monitor competitive activity and ensure that appropriate response strategies are formulated.
  • Prepare and negotiate business terms for client agreements; participate in the execution of said agreements with appropriate teams.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in developing competitive analysis for new opportunities; ensure that business objectives around profitability and returns are met.
  • Develop an understanding of the financial drivers and key operations at target opportunities.
  • Ensure quality standards/installations and projects meet both client and internal stakeholder requirements.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of Company products and remain updated on all new products and improvements.
  • Participate in yearly business plans and budgets preparation for presentation to senior management.
  • Suggest recommendations on advertising programs, brochures and sales materials which may assist in the marketing of ATCO products.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Ten (10) years business experience, preferably in the construction or modular/logistics industry.
  • Five (5) years successful project management experience negotiating complex investment projects for direct sale.
  • Exceptional organization skills and a self-starter who can work independently.
  • Excellent communicator, both with external and internal clients including communication to senior management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel. Experience with ERP systems, specifically Oracle, desired.
  • Experience working with Google leads, Salesforce or 360 leads is considered an asset.
