Position Summary
The Client Services Manager is responsible for the successful administration of the Foundation of Little Village’s Economic Empowerment Center Business (EEC) Advise/Technical Assistance Program, Client Services, and the Referral & Linkages System.
This role involves working closely with organizations, entrepreneurs, staff, instructors, contractors, and community partners to deliver high-quality support services and agile referrals.
The ideal candidate is passionate about entrepreneurship, possesses strong project management skills, and is invested in growing culturally relevant programs to empower individuals.
Position Profile:
The Client Services Manager reports to the Program Director of The Foundation of Little Village and has an essential role for the success of the Economic Empowerment Center
Roles & Responsibilities:
Responsible for the successful administration of the Economic Empowerment Center Business’ Advise/Technical Assistance programs and services including:
- (Mandatory) Client Services
- Orientation & Screening of prospective entrepreneurs to determine eligibility for the EEC Programming
- Business Concepts & Technical Feasibility Analysis with EEC participants and our partners to understand business viability, and technical feasibility to suggest resources, referrals, and training. (*)
- Market Analysis: stay current on market dynamics, opportunities, and challenges to provide analysis and guidance to participants. (*)
- Management Analysis and Counseling: Provide one-on-one business management guidance, support, and resources to entrepreneurs. (*)
- Business Planning & Financial Planning Assistance
- Referrals to Finance Resources, Existing educational programs, and business Incubator Facilities
- (Additional) Client Services
- Food Industry Business Planning: Coordinate with our partners to assist food industry entrepreneurs with business planning services.
- Marketing & Branding: Coordinate with FourStar Branding to work with clients on their marketing and branding strategies.
- Networking & Mentoring: Coordinate with the Little Village Chamber of Commerce to participate in networking and mentoring events and webinars.
- Direct Access to Capital: Refer clients to our Micro-grant manager to discuss direct access to capital.
- Referral & Linkages System
- Maintain and Administer FLV’s Referral & Linkages System. This system will host key information from our business ecosystem to empower FLV to easily connect our participants with the right resources clearly and efficiently.
- The system will focus on Community Organizations, Financial and Educational Institutions, and Key Professionals that:
- Offer Small Business Assistance & Financial Resources
- Have Business Advisory Services and Education Programs
- Manage Business Incubators
- Develop and maintain appropriate reporting mechanisms to track outcomes and deliverables.
- Monitor and evaluate program and system effectiveness, recommending adjustments as necessary to improve outcomes.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to participants throughout the program and after.
(*) These Services are provided to both Juntos Program Participants and EEC Programming participants.
Community Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, local businesses, and other stakeholders to enhance program visibility and impact.
- Represent the organization at community events, meetings, and other networking opportunities.
Reporting & Deliverables
- Prepare and submit regular reports on program activities, outcomes, and impact to the Program Director.
- Oversee the maintenance of accurate records and databases related to program participants, activities, and outcomes. Deliver pre & post surveys.
- Write engaging success stories to highlight program successes and participant stories
Qualifications:
- Spanish language fluency.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in program management, preferably in a non-profit setting.
- Strong interest in entrepreneurship and small business development.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Suite, understanding of CRM tools and other relevant software applications.
- Passion for empowering individuals and fostering economic development through entrepreneurship.
