Client Services Manager

At Medix, we are seeking a highly skilled Client Services Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing client relationships, coordinating clinical service billing activities, and ensuring quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Primary point-of-contact for assigned clinical departments
- Works closely with department Administrators and Physicians to understand their practice patterns and trends
- Collaborates with clinical departments and management team to improve workflow, standardization, and corrective procedures
- Recognizes and communicates trends with major payer issues relating to appeals and denials and escalates to internal teams for further review and solution
- Compiles medical billing data, analyzes trends, summarizes findings, and works with management teams to implement solutions
- Identifies and troubleshoots data flow issues, spots trends, and provides guidance and/or coordination to resolve revenue cycle issues
- Meets regularly with assigned departments to address opportunities for improvement and formally presents practice results, discusses practice and industry trends, and shares intellectual capital
- Proactively finds new ways to improve the accounts receivable of assigned departments
- Identifies issues, responds to and resolves account receivable and customer service problems
- Bachelor's degree in health care administration, business, or another related field
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in physician revenue cycle collections or related field
- Vast knowledge of revenue cycle services
- Previous experience with medical billing systems required
- Strong background in financial management and knowledge of federal and state laws and requirements relating to healthcare management
- Manage interpersonal relationships and interact with clarity and courtesy with staff and clients
- Proficiency in a windows environment with a strong working knowledge of excel is a necessity
- Desire and ability to act as an effective client advocate and trusted advisor
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, including professional appearance and demeanor
- Demonstrated skills in teamwork effectiveness across all functional areas
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, planning, and organizational skills
- Able to anticipate and adapt to rapidly changing, growth-oriented environment
- Ability and capacity to successfully prioritize multiple responsibilities and projects
