  • Collaborates with the LULAC team in meeting the organizational mission and in creating a healthy workplace culture.
  • Supervises the operations of the front desk, including managing communication, logs, mail/deliveries, purchasing and inventory maintenance.
  • Under the direction of the Fiscal and Executive Offices, participates in the purchasing procedures, and maintains the supply inventory and the distribution of office supplies.
  • Works with the Fiscal Department in bookkeeping responsibilities, including tracking financial transactions and parent fees.
  • Monitors the administrative and business operations of the agency, including but not limited to, contract review and maintenance, purchasing, and marketing. Works with the Fiscal team to implement and monitor procurement processes.
  • Assists with maintaining the agency’s social media presence and developing marketing materials such as the program newsletter and annual report.
  • Maintains relationships and collaboration with community agencies/partners/ vendors/suppliers.
  • Attends meetings, training, and professional development activities as directed.
  • Monitors and analyzes data, preparing reports.
  • Works with the HR department to ensure accurate pension plan deductions and payments.
  • Assists the Fiscal team in completing the bimonthly payroll.
  • Works with the HR department to ensure employees are being allocated to the proper cost centers.
  • Performs other duties as requested.
Requirements:

Required Education and Experience

  • Minimum of Associate’s Degree in Business, Accounting or related field, or 7+ years as a bookkeeper or related experience.
  • Experience working in a non-profit agency and with grants.
  • Advanced knowledge of technology, including but not limited to accounting software, website development platforms, social media (i.e., Facebook, YouTube) and Microsoft suite (i.e., Excel, Word, Google Classroom)
