Job Description:


We’re seeking an experienced Director, Accounting with experience in all aspects of accounting, and treasury operations. You'll be an important part of our global team and help shape our financial strategy for long-term success. This is a great opportunity to make a big impact and contribute to our company's growth.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the company for audit and forthcoming audit.
  • Prepare the company for US tax return preparation.
  • Review all company books regularly and ensure accuracy and reporting standards.
  • Repair and supervise treasury and fund flow functions.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support our goals and objectives.
  • Provide valuable financial analysis and insights to help with decision-making.
  • Manage cash flow, investments, digital assets, and company liquidity.
  • Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and suggest ways to improve results.
  • Build relationships with external partners like banks, auditors, and investors
  • Ensure the Company’s compliance with regulations and industry standards
  • Lead financial reporting, including preparing statements and reports
  • Manage and mentor a global finance team by encouraging excellence and teamwork


Requirements:

  • Deep Cryptocurrency industry experience is required, these includes experience with cryptocurrency exchanges, blockchain technology, and regulations
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (an MBA or CPA is a plus)
  • At least 7 - 15 years of experience in a similar senior finance role
  • Strong knowledge of US auditing standards and US tax code
  • Experience working with small to medium-sized businesses and understanding their unique financial challenges
  • Must have experience managing a small global team of 3+
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Great communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
