Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Windows and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Project).
  • Proficient at creating/maintaining Gantt Chart-style project schedules.
  • Detail oriented while able to look at the “big picture” of a project and Customer relationship.
  • Customer focused.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple large to complex projects at a time.
  • BS in engineering or a relevant major from an accredited college/university.
  • 6-10 years prior project management experience or equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Able to travel 5-20%.
  • Positive attitude with a good sense of humor.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Attend coordination and kick-off meetings for all product development projects.
  • Proactively communicate regarding all aspects of project, including scope, schedule, commercial, and technical details.
  • Become familiar/conversant with the entire MIRATECH product line and processes.
  • Assist Sales and Engineering with review of complex specifications and drawings to ensure compliance.
  • Work with Sales, Engineering, and Production on preparation of project budget and track actual vs. budget costs and revenues (with assistance from accounting) through the project lifecycle.
  • Identify potential issues at the beginning and throughout of the project lifecycle and work with the appropriate parties (Engineering, Production, Sales, etc.) to resolve after escalations.
  • Manage scope changes which affect schedule, cost, revenue, etc.
  • Schedule and lead product development project meetings as needed and produce meeting minutes/action items as appropriate.
  • Review product development project drawings after release.
  • Provide regular reports on project status to the appropriate parties.
  • Manage the flow of documents to ensure consistency and timeliness.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors with MIRATECH production team.
  • Coordinate and lead warranty resolution for projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.
