We are seeking a skilled and experienced Foreman to oversee and manage our light gauge framing, layout, and commercial carpentry projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in these areas, with a proven track record of leading teams and delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.


- Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers engaged in light gauge framing, layout, and commercial carpentry.

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.

- Plan and schedule work to ensure efficient use of resources and timely completion of projects.

- Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.

- Train and mentor team members, providing guidance and support to improve their skills and productivity.

- Inspect work progress, materials, and equipment to detect and resolve any issues or deficiencies.

- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

- Maintain accurate records of site labor, materials, and equipment.

- Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols.

- Manage inventory and order materials and supplies as needed.

- Address and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise on the job site.


Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment.

- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and working in various weather conditions.

- Ability to climb ladders and scaffolding.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in light gauge framing, layout, and commercial carpentry.

- Previous experience in a supervisory or foreman role in the construction industry.

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and drawings.

- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction best practices.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

- OSHA certification preferred.
