Position Summary

We are looking for a proficient and seasoned Foreman to lead our light gauge framing, layout, and commercial carpentry projects. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in these fields, demonstrating a successful history of team leadership and high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of construction personnel engaged in light gauge framing and commercial carpentry.
  • Interpret blueprints and specifications to ascertain project requirements.
  • Plan and schedule work to optimize resource utilization and ensure timely project completion.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Mentor and train team members to enhance their skills and productivity.
  • Monitor work progress and materials to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers for seamless project execution.
  • Maintain detailed records of labor, materials, and equipment usage.
  • Conduct safety meetings and enforce adherence to safety protocols.
  • Manage inventory and procure materials as necessary.
  • Address and resolve conflicts or issues on the job site.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and transport heavy materials and equipment.
  • Capability to stand, walk, and work in various weather conditions for extended periods.
  • Ability to climb ladders and scaffolding.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in light gauge framing and commercial carpentry.
  • Previous supervisory experience in the construction sector.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction blueprints.
  • Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • OSHA certification is preferred.
