Compliance Specialist

Part-Time | Remote
Albizu University


The Compliance Specialist facilitates the institution's licensing process and accreditation activities, ensuring adherence to state rules and regulations as well as institutional policies and procedures.

This position offers a flexible schedule with a pay rate of $29.00 per hour, and requires 20-25 hours of work per week.

Role and Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate and review the license application, data collection and reports with the Florida Commission of Independent Education.
  2. Maintain accurate records related to licensing/accreditation activities.
  3. Monitor changes in licensing/accreditation standards and communicate updates to the stakeholders.
  4. Conduct periodic reviews to verify ongoing compliance with standards.
  5. Coordinate training to the campus stakeholders on matters related to licensing requirements.


Qualifications, Education Requirements, and Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, public administration, or a related field.
  • Project management experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret regulations and policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
