Position Overview:

The CRA Officer is tasked with managing the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Policy and Program. This role involves the development, execution, and oversight of CRA requirements to guarantee adherence to both federal and state regulations.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all facets of CRA compliance
  • Create an annual performance strategy for CRA
  • Assess community needs and refine CRA Policy accordingly
  • Monitor and evaluate CRA-related activities
  • Engage with various business units
  • Prepare and deliver CRA activity reports to the Board
  • Offer training and consultancy services
  • Support preparations for CRA assessments
  • Ensure precise data management and reporting practices
  • Coordinate programs related to CRA initiatives
  • Continuously monitor and report on the institution's CRA performance

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in CRA
  • At least 7 years in a financial institution or regulatory environment
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • In-depth understanding of banking laws and regulations
  • Experience in compliance, auditing, or risk management
  • Exceptional communication and project management abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
