Purpose: Responsible for the oversight and supervision of all human resources functions at the plant facility. Human Resources functions to include policy benefits, compensation, staffing and recruitment, HRIS, payroll, training/development, and team member relations. Provide high-level human resources support by collaborating with Plant Management and Leadership Team to meet the organization’s expectations.

  1. Serve as HR SME at plant level. Be SME for guidance and advice on legal and policy matters. Stay abreast and in compliance on employment and labor law. Serve as SME on employment/labor law for the plant. Ensure compliance and escalate questions/issues to EPSC HR.
  2. Interpret human resources policies for the plant leadership team and team members within in the plant. Coach, guide, and mentor managers on team member relations matters, EP policy and laws.
  3. Partner with plant leadership team to ensure proper administration of policies by ensuring that EnovaPremier HR policies, practices, and procedures are properly and consistently administered and lead to fair and consistent treatment of team members. Process owner for fact finding/investigations.
  4. Work with plant leadership team to identify continuous improvement recommendations and implementation at the plant level. Ensure proper process for HR policy changes is followed.
  5. Serve as SME on benefits at the plant level. Administer benefit programs to include serving as primary contact with insurance providers in resolving team member issues. Manage and conduct Annual Open Enrollment.
  6. Manage and administer all leave of absence programs, including FMLA and medical leave. Also serve as SME for benefit, leave of absence and ADA/ADAAA related items. Educate and update plant leadership team on issues as needed.
  7. Manage full-cycle staffing & recruitment process for all plant positions, including temporary team members. This includes, but is not limited to; identifying staffing needs, recruitment, screening, interviewing, candidate selection and offer extensions. Responsible for ensuring compliance with all processes.
  8. Provide guidance and advice on staffing/shift changes/plant reorganizations. Partner with plant leadership team on issues regarding staffing.
  9. Manage new employee orientation and ensure all new hire paperwork is completed and properly entered into HRIS/payroll system. Manage team member separation process to ensure compliance with EP policies, procedures and all laws. Complete all unemployment requests and participate in hearings, if required. Escalation to EPSC HR if necessary.
  10. Responsible for plant team building budget. Partner with Plant Manager on training and expenditures for team building budget. Develop and maintain sound team member relations system. Foster team member engagement and a positive attitude toward organizational objectives.
  11. Partner with plant leadership team to identify items for continuing education and training opportunities. Identify gaps needed in HR/soft skills and make recommendations. Work with EPSC HR to schedule and facilitate HR/soft skills training.
  12. Manage worker’s compensation claim submission and administration at the plant level. Serve as SME for plant leadership team on worker’s compensation related questions/issues. Escalate abnormalities to EPSC HR.
  13. Ensure timely and accurate submission of payroll to EPSC Payroll for processing. Responsible for HR related administrative activities, including, but not limited to; accurate and timely input of team member data in the HRIS/Payroll system, team member personnel files, HR metrics and tracking.
  14. Other duties as assigned.
