Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAs an Intune Application Configuration Management Specialist, you will be responsible for the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of software application packages within our organization. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that applications are properly configured in Intune to meet the needs of users and the business.

Responsibilities:
1. Configuration Management: Manage the configuration of various software applications, ensuring that settings, parameters, and options are correctly defined and maintained. Software applications will be packaged efficiently and effectively for deployment through Intune, ensuring compatibility and seamless integration with existing systems.
2. Deployment Automation: Develop and implement automated deployment processes to streamline the installation and setup of applications across different environments.
3. Version Control: Implement and maintain version control systems to track changes to application configurations and ensure version consistency across development, testing, and production environments.
4. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of Intune application configurations, processes, deployment procedures, and troubleshooting guides to facilitate knowledge transfer and support future maintenance activities.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, system administrators, IT, and Security to align Intune configurations and deployments with organizational goals and requirements.
6. Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor application performance and usage patterns to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements in configuration settings.
7. Security Compliance: Design, implement, and enforce Intune policies for device management, compliance, security, and application management.
8. Troubleshooting: Provide technical support for troubleshooting Intune configuration-related issues, policies, deployments, investigating root causes, and implementing corrective actions to restore functionality and prevent recurrence.

Required Skills:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Extensive experience in administering Microsoft Intune, including configuration, policy management, and troubleshooting.
3. Proficiency in packaging applications for deployment through Intune, utilizing tools such as Microsoft Intune Management Extension (IME)
4. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly.
5. Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell for automation and customization tasks.
6. Creating reports from data in Microsoft Intune using Microsoft Graph and Power BI.
7. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
