Job DescriptionJob DescriptionNow seeking a reliable and detail-oriented candidate to join a team of Machine Operators near Lake Mills on 2nd shift Must have strong communication skills and a history of reliability (including good attendance). Previous manufacturing or production line experience is preferred. Candidates will be expected to use and learn basic repairs and troubleshooting skills in daily operations.

Pay:  $21-25/hr Depending on Skills and Experience
Schedule: 2:45pm-11:45pm Monday to Friday

Duties may include:
  • Cut, measure, inspect, and load parts and machine components such as blades, materials and more
  • Operate, load, troubleshoot and replace parts on various machines
  • Check and inspect quality of materials and machines, and identify any defects
  • Record and track numbers and dates to ensure proper record keeping in a computer-based system.
  • Label and pack as needed for shipping or storage purposes
  • Working knowledge of an automated line that requires visual inspections and upkeep to maintain proper efficiencies and maintenance of the equipment.
  • Use calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and other tools
  • Operate forklifts, or be willing to learn
  • Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and diagrams.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2 or more years of manufacturing experience is preferred
  • Ability to measure and understand general mechanical workings.
  • Stand, climb stairs, lift and move up to 50lbs frequently.
  • Occasionally handle hazardous materials like resin, chemicals, batteries, and more with proper (PPE).
  • Follow all safety policies and attend all training events.
  • Work well both individually AND with a team.
