Prime Machine is seeking an experienced Machining Operations Supervisor to oversee our dynamic machine shop. If you possess extensive machining expertise and a strong leadership presence, this role may align perfectly with your career aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

  • Guide and motivate a skilled team of machinists and operators to achieve production targets while cultivating a supportive workplace culture.
  • Offer coaching and support to enhance team members' skills and performance.

Operational Management:

  • Manage daily operations within the machine shop, ensuring efficient workflow and timely project delivery.
  • Create and implement production schedules, prioritizing tasks to meet client demands.

Quality Control:

  • Develop and maintain stringent quality assurance protocols to ensure the highest levels of precision and quality in machined products.
  • Work closely with the quality assurance team to swiftly resolve any quality-related concerns.

Resource Optimization:

  • Enhance resource distribution, including personnel, machinery, and materials, to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Track and manage costs to stay within budgetary limits.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify and implement strategies for process optimization to increase productivity and decrease waste.
  • Keep informed about industry developments and technological innovations, suggesting and applying relevant enhancements.

Safety Management:

  • Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety regulations and compliance.
  • Conduct regular safety evaluations and provide thorough safety training for team members.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a leadership role within a machining environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of machining techniques, CNC programming, and tooling.
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to effectively lead and inspire diverse teams.
  • Understanding of industry standards and compliance requirements.
