About the Opportunity

Shipping & Logistics Specialist will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our logistics of Industrial & portable operation. This role will work closely with our team to receive, store, and distribute products while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

As a Shipping & Logistics Specialist, you will:

  • Vendor management: Ensure we partner with the right vendors for in-bound and out-bound logistics
  • Scheduling in-bound, out-bound, return goods logistics based on production plan and input from service team with the goal of minimum wait time
  • Take up and resolve logistics issues with the vendor, insurance agents, and other legal agents and ensure resolution
  • Provide feedback on order fulfilment to the Sales Support team (tracking number, packing slips, shipment details etc.)
  • Coordinate with import agents for items procured from vendors overseas for logistics arrangement
  • Budget and manage the freight revenue, cost and gross margin
  • Provide logistics quotes for sales team (Equipment and parts)
  • Purchase order / request placement on logistic partners for our requirements
  • Create process for shipment of expedited break down parts against 48 hr. UPTIME commitments
  • Implement photo evidence process on outbound goods and work with vendors to provide live tracking of their goods
  • Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
  • Ensure that all safety procedures are followed and report any safety hazards to management immediately
  • Assist in loading and unloading trucks as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time
  • Must be reliable and punctual
