Key Responsibilities:
As a Logistics Specialist in Brokerage, your role will be vital and dynamic within our daily operations. Your primary responsibilities will encompass:
- Customer Profile Management: Update and maintain customer profiles while entering load information from customer tenders into our Freight Optimizer system.
- Communication Hub: Keep account managers informed about problematic loads and actions taken, while also updating receivers and customers regarding load statuses.
- Delivery Oversight: Supervise daily pick-ups and deliveries, ensuring all loads arrive punctually and in excellent condition.
- Driver Coordination: Conduct check calls with drivers to confirm timely delivery and validate load data for accuracy before marking loads as delivered.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate and document any product overages, shortages, or damages.
- Scheduling: Arrange and adjust delivery appointments, making decisions on accepting or declining loads based on account manager direction.
- Routing Assistance: Provide comprehensive routing instructions to drivers for optimal delivery paths.
Qualifications for Success:
Essential Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in logistics.
- Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of the transportation sector.
Preferred Skills:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Communication: Proficiency in writing routine reports and correspondence.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to apply common sense and understanding to execute instructions provided in various formats (written, verbal, or diagram form).

Compensation Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
