Logistics Support and Quality Assurance Coordinator - National Accounts
A leading manufacturer in the commercial flooring sector is seeking a logistics specialist to manage all shipments associated with the National Accounts division. Competitive pay rate offered.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently coordinate and ensure the delivery of an average of 30-40 shipments weekly related to National Accounts.
  • Collaborate with the National Account Team to ascertain the specific requirements of each order.
  • Oversee the transportation of material orders from external warehouses to job sites (LTL, FTL).
  • Provide Bills of Lading (BOLs) to the shipping department by 4 PM the day before shipping.
  • Maintain communication with the shipping department to relay shipment arrangements as necessary.
  • Manage the weekly shipping calendar in alignment with customer installation schedules, making adjustments in collaboration with the National Accounts team.
  • Facilitate coordination with General Contractors regarding freight logistics.
  • Ensure timely shipping and delivery of all freight.
  • Dispatch tracking information to customers along with required documentation (e.g., packing lists and closeout forms).
  • Address issues related to lost or damaged shipments in conjunction with freight carriers and the internal plant team.
  • Conduct data entry tasks: Collaborate with the Logistics and QA Manager to update financial applications, linking purchases to freight companies and revising freight costs for accounting purposes; perform CRM updates.
  • Follow up on necessary closeout documentation for all orders.
  • Work closely with the Logistics and QA Manager to achieve the objectives of a developing Quality Assurance department:


o Ensure consistent installation quality by establishing and enforcing installation standards set by management, including reporting and documentation.


o Contribute to Quality Assurance operational goals by providing information and analysis for action plans; this may involve site visits for firsthand analysis or coordinating repairs through TaskRabbit, communicating quality standards, and establishing customer service benchmarks; proactively identify and resolve issues as they arise, and determine opportunities for installer enhancements (re-training, advanced education).


o Formulate actionable quality assurance strategies through comprehensive contractor analysis, identifying critical issues and preventive measures; monitor installations to take proactive corrective actions as needed.


o Regularly follow up with customers regarding deliveries and installations to ensure adherence to our 100% job satisfaction guarantee and service level agreements (SLAs).


o Validate quality assurance processes by enforcing product specifications and quality attributes, documented through on-site surveys.


o Maintain and enhance product quality through regular audits of products, systems, compliance, and investigation of customer complaints.


o Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop new product designs and training methodologies.


o Prepare documentation and reports by analyzing and summarizing data and trends, including failed installations, corrective actions, and re-training efforts.


Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with Google Drive, including Sheets and Forms.
  • Completion of Eco-Grip installation training (training provided internally).
  • Full-time position with 100% in-office hours, Monday through Friday.
  • Dress Code: Business casual attire is required in the office.
  • Potential for local travel to job sites.
