As a Sales Associate & Jewelry Consultant at Maharajas Fine Jewelry, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and helping clients find the perfect piece of jewelry for every occasion. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs, offer expert advice on jewelry selection, and provide an outstanding shopping experience. Your role will also include assisting with jewelry repairs and supporting the custom design process.

Compensation:

$14 - $20 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service and build lasting relationships with clients.
  • Assist customers in selecting fine jewelry, including engagement rings, necklaces, bracelets, and more.
  • Offer knowledgeable advice on gemstones, metals, and jewelry styles.
  • Collaborate with the in-house design team to create custom jewelry pieces based on customer requests.
  • Facilitate jewelry repairs and ensure high-quality service.
  • Maintain a well-organized, attractive, and secure store environment.
  • Stay informed about current jewelry trends, products, and services.
  • Assist in inventory management, pricing, and merchandising.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the store.
  • Work closely with the family owners and manager to maintain the store's reputation for quality and integrity.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in fine jewelry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for jewelry, fashion, and customer service.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
  • Basic knowledge of gemstones, metals, and jewelry design is a plus.
  • Experience with custom jewelry design and repair services is preferred but not required.
  • Willingness to learn and stay updated on the latest trends in the jewelry industry.
