This position enables and supports our clients' core operational activities. The position operates and optimizes business processes, performs analyses, creates deliverables and responds to client requests. Supports client operations and practice staff. Communicates with corporate departments and clients to support efficient practice site operations. Provides a high level of customer service to establish and enhance positive relationships with clients, co-workers, patients and others.

Responsibilities include:

  • Works with the interdisciplinary departments of the organization in a supportive role with the goal of achieving client performance expectations.
  • Supports tasks required by the Practice Manager, Operations Manager, physician clients, and COO.
  • Assists Practice Manager, Operations Manager or physician clients with development and implementation of short- and long-term work plans.
  • Assists Practice Manager in understanding/implementing clinic policies and procedures.
  • Asssits with the day-to-day operations of client practices. Provides both front and back office support as needed.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from the clients.
  • Attend required meetings and participates in training programs as required.
  • Participates in the recruitment process of client practices.
  • Participates in the recruiting process for client practice personnel.
  • Supports EMR initial implementations.
  • Conducts initial and ongoing staff training as needed.
  • Delivers an exceptional client experience by identifying and documenting client needs and issues; answering incoming inquiries, effectively applying problem solving techniques, educating clients and following issues through to their successful resolution.
  • Accomplishes departmental human resource objectives by assisting with training and coaching employees; communicating job expectations; adhering to and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Maintains detailed knowledge of practice management and other computer software as it relates to job functions.
  • Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection control policies and protocols.
  • Adheres to and ensures compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Understands and adhere to HIPAA policies, procedures and regulations to ensure and maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Supports daily office operations of clients with assistance from corporate departments. Escalates client concerns to the appropriate department leaders as appropriate to ensure client needs are being met in a timely manner.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • One to five years of work experience, with increasing responsibility, in a healthcare-related field.
  • 2+ years of direct EMR experience.
  • Project management experience.
  • Comfortable using email and interacting with Internet applications.
  • Knowledge of practice management and word processing software.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Ability to perform multiple and diverse tasks simultaneously.
  • Drives throughout designated area utilizing personal transportation.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Valid Texas driver’s license, automobile liability insurance, and driving record acceptable to company.
