TS Range: 8/9 ($27.63)

SUMMARY: Performs a variety of high-level administrative support to the department. Plan, organize, and supervise Office Assistant Staff. Troubleshoot problems and creatively find solutions. This is an in-person position.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following.

· NR Office tasks: Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word & Access

  • Supervise and back up front office staff when absent.
  • Support office staff to improve harvester interactions.
  • Ensure harvest data is entered and corrected in a timely manner.
  • Participate in planning and organizing NR Events.
  • Manage and order office supplies.

· NR Committee’s: Must be proficient in Zoom, Microsoft Outlook, Power point & Teams

  • Work with NR staff to setup, manage and document NR Committee information, meetings and requests. (in person and electronic meetings)
  • Communicate with committee members for scheduling and voting.
  • Work with committee’s on annual committee reporting requirements.

· Tribal Records Management Policy: Must be proficient with scanning software & equipment.

  • Participate and ensure the Natural Resources department records comply
  • Maintain and update an electronic file system for the Natural Resources Department.
  • Maintain protocol for current and future documents for filing and or scanning.
  • Work with the Natural Resources staff to efficiently use the electronic file system.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has supervisory responsibilities.

· Must be proficient in Microsoft office suite

· Extensive experience with office organization, methods, and management principles.

· Must be proficient with scanning software & equipment.

· Must have supervisory experience.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: MA OR Bachelor’s Degree and two year of related experience OR Associates of Arts Degree and four years of related experience OR High School Diploma/GED and six years related experience. Must also have 2 years supervisory experience.
