Location: Columbus, Ohio
Pay Range: $30 - $36 per hour

Company Overview:
We're seeking an Automation Technician III to join us in Columbus, Ohio. This contract-to-hire role offers competitive pay and the chance to work with innovative technologies in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

Technical
Develop test plans (PATP, FAT, SAT) in collaboration with the Project Manager.
Oversee equipment assembly, wiring, plumbing to standards and customer specs.
Lead mechanical and electrical debugging, including I/O setup.
Ensure accurate task assignment, reporting, and completion through task scheduler.
Execute test plans (PATP, FAT, SAT) and assist with customer installations.
Supervisory
Provide input for assembly personnel evaluations.
Mentor technicians in build, testing processes, tool usage, and safety.
Supervise and guide Automation Technicians in task execution.
Collaborate on task lists and updates with the task scheduler.
Communications
Assist Project Manager in project planning and issue resolution.
Collaborate with Assembly Group Lead on task assignments.
Offer suggestions to Engineering and Manufacturing for improvements.
Coordinate with Materials Department on material needs.
Provide technical support to customers during design and build phases.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in computer usage, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong data interpretation and project execution skills.
Leadership abilities for projects and technician teams.
Mechanical and electrical assembly proficiency.
Ability to read mechanical and electrical prints independently.
Troubleshooting skills and familiarity with assembly best practices.
Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, electrical diagrams, pneumatics, and assembly procedures.
Proven experience in leading and mentoring technician teams.
Experience:
Minimum three years' automation-manufacturing experience preferred.
