Position Overview: We are currently in search of a Building Automation Account Executive / Sales Engineer to become part of our dynamic team in the Columbus area. This role is ideal for a proactive and results-oriented professional eager to contribute to our mission of developing smarter, more efficient buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, specify, and negotiate building automation and energy service solutions for both new construction and renovation projects.
  • Establish and nurture long-term business relationships with building automation system (BAS) clients by offering consulting support to architects, engineers, contractors, and property owners regarding building control and mechanical systems.
  • Collaborate with company engineers and technicians to ensure effective project execution.
  • Deliver industry presentations and seminars to educate and influence the consulting, contracting, and building engineering sectors.
  • Engage with clients including, but not limited to, data centers, healthcare facilities, government institutions, educational districts, and higher education establishments.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • Experience or familiarity with building controls and/or mechanical systems, either through professional experience or education.
  • Proven business-to-business sales experience.
  • Understanding of Direct Digital Control (DDC) Theory & Applications and mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with Tridium Niagara or Alerton is advantageous.
