We are seeking a skilled Electrical Automation Technician to join our team at Stryten Energy - North America. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining our complex manufacturing equipment.

About the Role:

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues with our machine vision systems, ultrasonic welding equipment, automation equipment, and other production machinery.
  • Collaborate with our plastic process engineers to identify and resolve problems, optimize injection molding machine performance, and increase production efficiency.
  • Program changes to our equipment as required for continuous improvement and new product implementation.
  • Validate and update equipment calibration procedures to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Develop and create electrical drawings as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations in our facilities and work areas.
  • Understand and follow safety guidelines, including lockout/tag out procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) use.

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong oral, written, computer, and communication skills.
  • High degree of electrical knowledge and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to solve complex issues related to electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical operations.
  • Experience with commissioning and troubleshooting equipment using applicable software.
  • Understanding of robotic control systems and ability to make major source code changes as required.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and create electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
  • Understanding of network topologies, protocols, and related equipment.

Competencies, Skills, and Knowledge:

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and MS Windows environments.
  • Understanding of Autodesk Electrical and RS Logix.

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent; technical school preferred.

Compensation:

$37.13 per hour.
