Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach and Inspire: Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of energetic Business Development Managers, driving them to achieve and exceed sales targets. Foster a positive, collaborative and high-energy team culture.
- This is a player-coach role: You will be spend equal time building your own book of business alongside managing and developing a small team of Business Development Managers.
- Strategize and Execute: Develop and implement effective sales strategies, campaigns, playbooks, and processes to maximize efficiency and revenue growth. Oversee the sales funnel, ensuring each stage is optimized for conversion.
- Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with the Outreach Sales Director and COO to align on strategies and ensure a cohesive approach to market penetration and client acquisition.
- Build and Maintain Relationships: Take your own calls and build strong relationships with enterprise clients, pushing them for growth and maximizing their engagement.
- Optimize Sales Funnel: Oversee the sales funnel, ensuring each stage is optimized for conversion and that the team is following best practices.
- CRM Mastery: Be a strong Salesforce stakeholder, ensuring all sales activities are accurately tracked and reported. Provide insights and data-driven recommendations to senior management.
- Sales Playbooks: Create, maintain, and update sales playbooks to ensure consistency and effectiveness in sales approaches across the team.
- Drive Engagement: Engage with clients regularly to ensure satisfaction, identify upsell opportunities, and address any concerns promptly.
- Market Insight: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to inform and adjust sales strategies.
- Launch New Verticals: Identify and develop new industry verticals for business growth. Collaborate with operations, recruitment and marketing teams to successfully launch and grow these verticals.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to senior management, providing clear insights into sales performance and future growth opportunities.
- Achieve Targets: Ensure the sales team meets and exceeds monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Work with management to ensure incentive programs to drive performance.
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership, preferably within the staffing or recruitment industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of remote work trends and the benefits of global staffing solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with large clients.
- Experience developing and implementing sales strategies and processes.
- Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce) and sales tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data to drive decisions.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work and manage independently in a remote environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
