What you will be supporting:
DRT will provide CPIC, Enterprise Architecture, and data policy support to improve CDC IT Governance oversight, rigor and scrutiny, and to improve transparency and visibility to meet and fully comply with federal and public health requirements, policy, and guidance.

What are we looking for?
The Strategy/Capital Planner will work with a team of public health, IT governance specialists in supporting and enhancing IT strategy. The Planner will support data calls and reports to meet federal IT governance requirements to include CPIC. The Planner will assess the current procedures and data structures used to collect IT governance data, develop recommendations, and deploy enhanced procedures for efficiency and accuracy.

Fun stuff you will do on the job:
• Ensures IT governance data calls and reports are delivered on schedule
• Responsible for the quality of the products; including having enough time in the schedule for clients’ review before finalization
• Collaborates with team to define requirements, milestones, deliverables, timelines, and execution strategy
• Analyzes IT governance/planning needs, documents requirements, and translates them into requirement specifications
• Writes and maintain process and planning documentation
• Creates and maintains project schedule and progress reports
• Presents project milestones to stakeholders
• Provides innovative solutions to meet IT governance needs

This is you:
• Must have or be able to obtain a Public Trust with the US federal government
• At least four years of experience supporting federal IT governance requirements
• Knowledge of CPIC data and requirements
• Must have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Must be well-organized, proactive, and works well in a team-setting

You will wow us even more if you have these skills:
• Recent experience with CDC environment and standards

Education & Training:
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public health, or related field

Currently due to the remote working status of the federal government, most DRT employees are teleworking from home and leveraging video conferencing along with other virtual productivity tools. Under normal circumstances, most of our positions are required to report onsite. However, DRT has not yet determined when employees will be required to return to their onsite workspaces.
