Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Lutzie 43 Foundation is looking for a contracted on-site event coordinator to execute and run point on logistics for its five-hour Safe Driving Summits in partnership across the state of Georgia (in partnership with Georgia DOT) and surrounding states. The ideal candidate will be able to work with several parties involved in these summits, but specifically with Lutzie 43 Foundation staff in executing the run-of-show, keynote presentation and event schedule. Above all, the day-of event coordinator must be comfortable in a leadership role that demands a creative, business-driven mindset and that can adjust to schedule changes on the fly. This role will require some overnight travel.

RequirementsRequirements, skills and qualifications
Experience in event coordination and event execution in a school or corporate environment
Proven track record of creative, successful events
Excellent organizational, communication, negotiating, and multitasking skills
Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain a customer-service mindset
Ability to travel – overnight travel is sometimes required
Use of a personal computer to execute keynote Powerpoint and edit other documents for the event

Preferred skills & qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
3+ years experience in event management + on-site coordination
Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Acrobat, Word and Excel Compensation
Day rate of $400+/day-before summit set-up and summit event day (8 hrs) Hourly rate of $35/hr for any calls joined in planning
Travel reimbursement (mileage + hotel), meal-per diem
Lutzie 43 is open to negotiating based on level of experience or tenure in the industry.
