Role Overview: Exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Technology Manager to spearhead the venue’s technical platforms and systems. With a focus on delivering top-tier entertainment experiences, this role will lead multidisciplinary teams in defining, planning, and executing features and systems to enhance a brand-new state-of-the-art facility.
As the Technology Manager - Venue, you will collaborate closely with product managers, drive technical solutions, and manage the software development lifecycle to ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements. Your expertise in mobile app development, along with your enthusiasm for entertainment and technology, will be instrumental in shaping the future of the venue ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers to understand domain requirements and drive technical solutions.
- Identify and address weaknesses or inefficiencies in designs, processes, and relationships.
- Lead efforts to explore new markets, create innovative experiences, and expand the venue ecosystem.
- Coordinate with partners to align timelines and scope for deliverables across work streams.
- Manage the software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, release, and dev ops/live ops stages.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to engineers, including peer reviews and career development.
- Partner with venue QA to ensure delivery of quality release candidates and timely bug fixes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver features on schedule.
- Manage tech estimates and staffing levels for projects.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and evaluate their impact on business and member value.
- Work with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable and reliable cloud solutions.
- Design and deliver complex infrastructure solutions for mobile, web, on-premises, and cloud environments.
- Comply with change management policies and assist in implementing DevSecOps tools and processes.
- Provide support for data-related services and deployments within Azure.
- Contribute to the creation and testing of contingency plans, including business continuity and disaster recovery.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors as needed.
- Complete special projects within specified deadlines.
- Develop reports and presentations for management as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in C#/C++Unity, Python, Swift, Kotlin, and working knowledge of JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of mobile design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with Git version control, CI/CD, QA, and mobile app store review processes.
- Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Organized and able to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
- Experience with Azure's portfolio of products, certification preferred.
- Experience with multiple mobile platforms and full-stack development.
- Prior experience in the hospitality, travel, or entertainment industry.
- Strong understanding of cloud security concepts and hands-on experience with security controls and practices in a cloud environment.

The Technology Manager – Venue position is located onsite in the Los Angeles Area. This is a full time and salaried position.
