Position Overview: The Consortium for School Networking is looking for a full-time Manager of Surgical Education Technology. This role will be pivotal in overseeing the operations of the Surgical Education Center. Reporting to the Director of Surgical Education, the successful candidate will be responsible for the management of surgical training initiatives and accredited service lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate to conceptualize and implement innovative educational and training programs, both locally and for broader audiences.
  • Organize and oversee all Continuing Medical Education (CME) and Maintenance of Certification (MOC) initiatives.
  • Enhance and manage partnerships with industry affiliates focused on the training of new surgical and interventional technologies.
  • Work in conjunction with professional organizations to support accredited training programs and laboratories aimed at advancing surgical techniques and research.
  • Manage the educational budget, including procurement and maintenance of necessary equipment, while coordinating technical support functions.
  • Provide direct training in surgical assist technologies and oversee skills assessments for minimally invasive procedures.
  • Act as the primary operations expert for surgical simulation technologies, supporting educators and learners across various surgical disciplines.
  • Supervise administrative and technical staff, including recruitment and management of volunteers and temporary personnel.

Compensation: The annual salary range for this position is $64,000 to $137,600.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline such as education or business operations.
  • A minimum of 3 years of management experience.
  • Proven ability to foster collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Skill in identifying opportunities for program enhancement and managing projects effectively.
  • Understanding of various technologies to prioritize resources effectively.
  • Familiarity with government contracting and its implications for technology programs.
  • Experience in writing technical proposals and reports.
  • Knowledge of curriculum development principles and learner assessment methods.
  • Ability to analyze and manage budgets for ongoing operations and proposals.
  • Adaptability to a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.
  • Strong computer proficiency and ability to quickly learn new software.
  • Awareness of organizational policies related to fund management and operational procedures.
