JOB DUTIES:

Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:

  • Working with your Regional Sales Manager and your team members, develop and execute sales strategies to consistently exceed sales and profit objectives for the territory.
  • In partnership with the RSM, identify commercial contractors in your geographic market and develop strong business relationships throughout the construction process that bring mutual benefit. Contacts will primarily include commercial tile contractors, flooring contractors, general contractors and end users.
  • Develop and consistently execute an account based strategic business plan for the identified target accounts of the specific market segments (Healthcare, Corporate, Education, Government, End Users and Hospitality)
  • Proactively collaborate with A&D representatives to keep project specifications on specification and serviced to the customer’s expectations. You will be responsible for both closing the sale on A&D specifications and generating discretionary business with your account base.
  • Effectively schedule and execute appropriate daily/weekly sales calls with project orientation mindset to provide viable solutions and value to the customer and drive sales revenues. .
  • Effectively utilize construction market intelligence, such as, Dodge Data and CRM to facilitate market awareness, project tracking and account management.
  • Effectively and actively participate in regularly scheduled project tracking meetings.
  • Maintain high level of awareness and knowledge of market dynamics, customers focus and needs, project awareness, product and competition.
  • Maintain Project Registrations, develop and manage commercial pipelines and participate in regular pipeline management meetings.
  • Actively pursue regional and or national accounts.
  • Provide appropriate reports, such as, requested call reports/weekly updates, pipeline sales reports, expense reports, etc. to Sales Management.
  • Participate in weekly/monthly/quarterly territory reviews with Sales Management.
  • Meet and exceed all established sales goals
  • Any other duties that may be assigned or required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS/BA degree preferred.

  • 5-7 years demonstrated experience in specifying commercial projects and delivering sales objectives.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Good interpersonal skills in dealing with customers and clients.
  • Must pass mandatory pre-employment drug test, physical, and criminal background check
