Overview:
Interior Alaska Roofing, Inc. is looking for an aspiring Project Coordinator or Student willing to get Construction Management experience. You will be working directly with the Project Managers and Construction Team.

The Job Description includes but is not limited to:
o Assist the Project Manager (PM) and Construction Management (CM) team in any and all job related activities
o Record and Analyze data
o Submit documents and file appropriately
o Receive and report inventory
o Expedite important documents and/or materials
o Familiarize with plans and shop drawings
o Organize and Maintain office and files
o Assist in performing daily/general duties
o Receiving and forwarding mail
o Email correspondence
o Maintaining general office cleanliness
o Answer and forward appropriate calls
o Follow company procedures and processes
o Attend Subcontractor meetings
o Provide on-site and off-site administrative support activities
o Ensure SLO (Service Level Objectives) are met and projects are moving through in a timely manner.
o Assist PM's with scheduling and notifying all required personnel of deadlines: i.e. works cross functionally with other company departments to ensure clients' needs and internal deadlines are met and keep all necessary parties (Internal/External) updated.
o Track projects through communicating clearly and effectively with coworkers, supervisors, on project status and development
o Promote safety onsite and offsite
o Being able to interpret terms of contracts, scopes of work, plans & shop drawings
o Track materials and shipping 
o Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
o Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree in Construction Management, Project Management or a related field is a bonus, but not required. 
o Basic knowledge in residential and/or commercial construction
o Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and after hire random drug tests 
o Willing to train the right applicant with little to no experience 

This position would ideally be full time. We are willing to work with a student part time for the right applicant.
