Summary of Position: (Provide a brief narrative, one or two sentences, that highlights the primary purpose to the organization and key responsibilities of the job).

The purpose of this position is to serve as a subject matter expert for retail cash management operations for a growing software technology company that delivers cloud-based cash management and automation software solutions to the large and medium size retail marketplace. This person will be part of the product operations team and work closely with the field sales organization to provide expertise on how to enhance cash management and handling process efficiency and effectiveness by identifying and implementing process improvements.

This individual will leverage their expertise in analyzing existing workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to streamline processes and drive operational excellence. This individual is responsible for serving as a change agent for the development and implementation of industry standard cash management process within Retail and Banking industries. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is required to ensure the successful execution of process improvement initiatives. The goal is to leverage the use of our software technologies to allow our clients to improve quality, reduce costs, increase productivity and improve cycle times, resulting in significant business improvements and customer satisfaction.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: (State the essential functions of the job, organized from most to least essential.   • Identify and document prospective customers’ business process workflow and gap analysis.
  • Develop and implement business improvement strategies through the use of our software technologies.
  • Coordinate and manage key process improvement/change projects (e.g. customer implementation)
  • Facilitate business process re-engineering within and across an organization that aligns with industry standards.
  • Benchmark performance across departments to identify areas of opportunity.
  • Communicate to the business and stakeholders on projects and initiatives.
  • Make recommendations for change, involving process redesign and business case development.
  • Ensure accurate and organized process documentation in procedures, paperwork and application systems.
  • Identify software product enhancements, new features needs, and areas of future growth within our software roadmap.
  • Assist with identification of hard and soft training needs.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: (List the minimum required education, prior experience, certifications, licenses, and specialized areas of knowledge required to adequately perform the essential functions of the job).

  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
  • 5+ years of experience in retail merchant operations, cash management, or working with technology providers that serve the retail cash management market.
  • Ability to handle multiple deadlines and priorities in a dynamic, fast paced and progressive environment.
  • Proven track record of recommending and implementing process improvements that solve customer problems and create value for the business.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to apply operational gap analysis with technology enhancement experience.
  • Familiarity with process automation and technology solutions is a plus.
  • Experience and knowledge of cash operations in retail and banking industries.

  • Exceptional relationship building, influencing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong experience and competency with building detailed workflow diagrams with Visio and other similar design tools.
  • Advanced experience with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams.

Customer Base: (Identify who the primary and secondary customers are for the position. This includes any person or group of people, internal or external, who rely on the work product or output of the position).

The primary customer base served by this position include prospective customers, existing customers, external strategic business partners, and the sales organization.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements of the Job: (Indicate what the physical requirements are to complete the essential functions of the job, i.e. lifting, standing, etc. Also indicate any working conditions that may be out of the ordinary, i.e. travel, on call or unusual hours, exposure to noise, etc.).

  • Located in a comfortable indoor office environment. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
  • Travel:
  • Typically requires overnight travel 10% to 20% of the time for customer related visits.
  • If not located local to Alpharetta, GA, travel to home office required 1-2 times per month for 3-4 days per visit.
  • Available for consultation with management and occasionally with clients afterhours.
