Job Description

Get ready for an exhilarating opportunity as a New Business Development Manager expanding our footprint with Beauty New York. As a part of this thrilling venture, you will identify top-level brands and sell space and sponsorship packages. You'll also be spearheading efforts to bring in new business for Cosmoprof Miami and Cosmoprof Las Vegas. Get ready to dive into the fast-paced world of beauty business

Role Accountability and Duties:

  • Create a variety of space packages that include digital and onsite sponsorship options.
  • Identify prospects through channels consisting of competitive events, industry publications and websites, LinkedIn, and the Cosmoprof database.
  • Build and develop relationships with prospects / customers.
  • Utilize Salesforce to upload all prospect information to grow our database and pipeline for Beauty New York and Cosmoprof events.
  • Pipeline management – create opportunities, move prospects through the pipeline (Discover, Customize, Propose, Contract Sent, Closed Won / Closed Lost).
  • Provide customers with contracts through DocuSign via Salesforce.
  • Utilize A2Z to provide booth space options on the show floor.
  • Provide customers with an elite level of support and guidance throughout the entire sales cycle and on-site.
  • Work closely across all teams (marketing, customer success, finance, and operations) to ensure participating brands are being promoted, customers are serviced properly, payments are made, and the floorplan is updated.
Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience in the Beauty Industry
  • Ability to maintain a structured task approach, prioritize responsibilities, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in allocating time efficiently to meet deadlines and achieve objectives. Able to adapt to changing priorities and handle time-sensitive tasks effectively.
  • Skilled in articulating ideas clearly and concisely through written and verbal channels. Capable of engaging with prospects through phone calls, email correspondence, and face-to-face interactions to promote Cosmoprof North America events.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and others, for various tasks such as reports and managing documents.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM platform, including basic navigation, data entry, and report generation, is advantageous for managing customer interactions and tracking activities.
  • Understanding A2Z event management software, including its functionalities for exhibitor and attendee management, can facilitate efficient event coordination and organization.
