Accounts Payable Associate

Overview of the Position Responsibilities: The Accounts Payable Associate is primarily responsible for daily entering and balancing of accounts paid. Specific duties include reviewing invoices for appropriate documentation and approval, processing invoice matching, auditing vendor statements, responding to vendor inquiries and assisting in month end close.

What You Will Do:
- Daily scanning, preparation, and review of vendor invoices
- Matching of invoices and purchase orders
- Maintain vendor details including updating 1099 and mailing information
- Review monthly vendor statements for unpaid invoices
- Provides clerical functions as needed for department in an accurate and timely manner
- Assist in maintaining procurement invoice workflow
- Provide excellent communication with vendors and employees
- Performs other duties as assigned
What You Will Need:
- Minimum 2 years progressive accounts payable/purchasing experience in small to mid-size companies.
- High school diploma or GED is required. Accounting degree strongly preferred
- Strong Excel skills required
- Ability to organize, perform, and prioritize various functions to meet deadlines.
- Analytical, process and detail oriented, proactive, and able to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and management
- This role is a hybrid work environment; up to 50% of time working remotely, the remainder in-office
- Great Plains, Netsuite or other large Enterprise Resource Planning experience required
- Proficient use of MS Office applications
- History of Coupa application or other procurement application
- Ability to effectively navigate financial software, general ledger, and accounts payable
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Regularly required to talk and hear
- Frequently required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull and walk
- Required to use hands, handle objects and paperwork
- Required to use close vision and be able to focus
- Required to refrain from personal use of technology during working hours
- Required to lift up to 5lbs at a given time

The wage range for this position is $17.47 to $25.99. Pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
