Job Overview:

Salary:

Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-4 years of off-site event planning experience in various industries (corporate, non-profit, private celebrations, etc.)
- Spirit of an entrepreneur - ready to get your hands dirty, with a passion for growth
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Spirit of a cheerleader - a positive, gung-ho attitude, and can-do spirit
- Experience working with vendors and staff with a strong ability to negotiate.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, including budgeting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Experience with Total Party Planner and/or Caterease is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Duties:
- Ensure that all events, proposals, and work are produced and executed to the highest standards of GEH.
- Serve as a key member of the business development team that manages leads from outbound outreach, networking, and marketing channels.
- Prepare proposal decks for events for top clients.
- Assist with budget management related to client proposals, contracts, and all GEH-related items.
- Communicate with vendor and venue partners.
- General event logistics, including vendor research and communication, attending venue site visits, and facilitating pre and post-event notes.
- Organize and lead select GEH events.
- Provide on-site event support as needed and determined by the Director of Events.
- Administrative duties as assigned, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, managing invoices, presentation decks, and updating databases.
- Assist with the development and implementation of event marketing campaigns.
- Assist in maintaining social media platforms to promote events and engage with followers.
- Collaborate to brainstorm ideas, strategies, and execute plans effectively.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in event marketing and social media.
